George P. Legrand

George P. Legrand, age 83, a resident of Chelmsford, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024, at the Lowell General Hospital.  He was the husband of Raymonde (Cloutier) Legrand.

He was born in Lowell on June 18, 1940, a son of the late George P. and Frances (Denley) Legrand, Jr.  He was educated in the Lowell school system and was a graduate of Lowell High School.

George enjoyed watching sports and was an avid marathon runner in his younger days.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa A. Dickie and her husband James of CT; three grandchildren, Adam, Tyler and Katelyn; a sister, Patricia Legrand of Albuquerque, NM; a brother-in-law, Richard Cloutier of Hudson, NH; and nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his son Roger R. Legrand; two brothers, Harold and Robert Legrand; a sister, Joan Legrand and a sister-in-law, Jaqueline Cloutier.

Funeral services will be private at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
