Gary W. Bernier

NASHUA – Gary W. Bernier, age 68, a resident of Nashua and a former resident of Dracut, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021, at his home, with his family by his side.  He was the beloved husband of Claudette L. (Richard) Bernier, with whom he had been married to for 49 years.

Born in Lowell on August 22, 1953, he was a son of the late Henry W. and Norma (Judson) Bernier. 

Gary enjoyed bowling, listening to the oldies on records and he had a passion for cars.

Prior to his retirement, he worked in the facilities department at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua.

Surviving him in addition to his wife Claudette are his two children, Laurie Forest and her husband David of Dracut and Keith Bernier and his wife Nelia of Medford; three loving grandchildren, Therese, Savanna and Christian; six siblings, Norma Schnoer, Nancy Maloney, Brendon Bernier, David Bernier, Carol Balman and Sharon Moore; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also the father of the late Celeste and Robin Bernier and brother of the late Norman and Bryan Bernier and Linda Rondeau.
