TYNGSBOROUGH – Frank K. Hannaford, age 77, a longtime resident of Tyngsborough, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, January 27, 2022, in Lowell. He was the loving husband of Joyce A. (Patterson) Hannaford with whom he shared over 55 years of marriage.
Born in Lowell on December 14, 1944, he was a son of the late Frank E. and Lillian G. (Rich) Hannaford.
Frank enlisted in the Air-Force in 1964 where he became Staff Sargent and was honorably discharged for his service. He went on to work in Hi-Tech as a senior PC designer for many startup companies. Frank was an easygoing, loving family man who enjoyed spending time and making memories at their cottage on Highland Lake in Stoddard, NH; he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, restoring cars, and in his younger years found joy riding his Harley. He loved celebrating every holiday surrounded by his family. Frank thoroughly enjoyed his time spent watching his grandsons high school baseball games, very rarely did he miss one. Frank was a collector of many items and an avid car enthusiast.
Surviving him in addition to his wife Joyce are two daughters Kimberley Perry and her husband Steven of Pepperell and Kelly Hannaford and her companion Mike Simard of Nashua, and his two sons, Calvin and Landon;. Five grandchildren, Ashley Loyola and her husband Mario, Kristin Murphy and her fiancé Christopher Grieco, Morgan Hall and her husband Cooper, Michael Murphy and his girlfriend Ariana Johnston and Maddison Perry and her boyfriend Charlie Cummings; also a former son in law, Mark Murphy; a brother, Dana Hannaford of Carlisle; two sisters, Ginger Kruger of NH and Julie Hannaford of Carlisle; a brother-in-law, Warren Patterson of FL and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public Funeral Services.
