AYER – Erika J. (Loring) Floyd, age 57, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 8, 2021 in Ayer. 

Born in Hahn Rheinland Pfals, Germany on August 21, 1963 she was a daughter of the late Richard F. and Geraldine F. (Roffo) Loring Sr. 

She was raised in Concord, MA and was educated in the Concord school system and was a graduate of Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical High School class of 1982.  She then attended Middlesex Community College, where she earned a Medical Secretary Certificate. She was currently employed as a manager of Concord Oil in Acton, MA.

Erika enjoyed playing bingo, watching movies and helping anyone in need. 

Her greatest joy was her family, she cherished every moment spent together and loved her grandchildren with all her heart.

She is survived by two sons, Christopher P. Floyd and his fiancée Caitlyn Richardson of Tyngsboro and Corey Floyd and his fiancée Rebecca Cyr of Woburn; two grandchildren, Christopher Jr. and Alexandria; five siblings, Richard F. Loring Jr. and his wife Susan of Bolton, Charles Loring of N. Hollywood, CA, Victoria J. Loring of Fort Myers, FL, Jeffery M. Loring and his wife Michelle of Rochester, NH and Sandra M. Sullivan of Concord; her best friend, Kathi L. Ferrante of Chelmsford; and several nieces and nephews.
