Eileen Marie (Manning) Pinard, age 57, of Tyngsborough, passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with heart disease.
Born in Boston on January 25, 1968, she was the beloved daughter of the late Edward F. and Eileen M. (Beatty) Manning. Eileen grew up in Canton, where she received her early education at Canton High School. She went on to attend the University of Lowell (UMass Lowell), where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology.
Eileen dedicated her professional life to public service, working for many years as a Compliance Officer at Tewksbury State Hospital for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where she investigated cases of abuse and neglect and led quality improvement initiatives that enhanced patient care at Tewksbury State Hospital. She was deeply respected for her expertise in the mental health system, and cherished for her wisdom, kindness, and sense of humor. She was a trusted mentor to many dedicated professionals in the hospital and community. She was beloved by patients for her warmth, and treating everyone with equal dignity and respect, offering compassion without judgement. She valued the friendships she built there deeply and spoke often of how much she loved her colleagues.
She is lovingly remembered by her brother, Edward “Ted” Manning; her nieces and nephews, Courtney P. Manning, Blake E. Manning, Kari Manning, and Tyler Manning; her close friends, including Kathi Cronin; and her devoted cat, Charlie.
Eileen was predeceased by her children, Savannah and Steven, as well as her brother, Eric B. Manning.
Those who knew Eileen will remember her for her sharp wit, her generous heart, and her quiet strength. Holidays shared with her brother Ted, her niece, and her nephew were among her most cherished moments, and she treasured the time spent with family above all else. She also found joy and support in her work family, with colleagues who became lifelong friends. Eileen had a deep love for those closest to her and found comfort in the simple joys of life, whether sharing laughter with her close friends or relaxing with her beloved cat, Charlie, by her side. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday September 19th at the Tyngsborough Funeral Home, 4 Cassaway Drive, Tyngsborough beginning at 2 p.m. and concluding with a prayer service at 3 p.m. A nearby reception will follow at Lenzie’s in Dracut beginning at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in her name to the American Heart Association or your local animal shelter.
