Edward Constantineau, a six year resident of Exeter NH and a thirty nine year resident of Albuquerque NM has passed April 2, 2023. Originally born in Lawrence MA January 6, 1934 he graduated Lawrence H.S. in 1952. He served two years active duty in the USN; attended Wentworth Institute, Lowell Tech and finally Northeastern University earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1971 and began work with Dr. Van de Graaff at High Voltage Engineering.
He moved to New Mexico in 1978 and was employed by Sandia National Laboratory working on projects like fusion accelerators and SDI projects in which he sent his designs to space for testing until his retirement in 1999.
He is preceded by his wife Connie who passed in 2013 and his parents Alfred and Elaise. Edward is survived by his sister Joan Augusta, two sons Glen and Alan, three grand children Jessica, Julia and Jeremy and three great grandchildren Ellie, Hadley and Kinsley all of which were his pride and joy.
Edward loved his best friend “Casey” and often spent many hours finding and rebuilding 1957 – 1959 Ford Victorias especially retractables showing them regularly in parades and car shows where he earned many a trophy. Edward also loved spending time with his wife’s cousins up in Canada becoming Eddie1 as Roger and Louise named their son Eddie. Edward also loved the children in his life pitching “3 good ones” to his sons and nephews, taking the grand kids camping, fishing and cliff diving in New Mexico which he also dearly loved. He will be greatly missed but his accomplishments and memories will live on in every heart he touched.
