Edna R. (Lausier) Gauthier

Edna R. (Lausier) Gauthier, a resident of Tyngsborough, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at the age of 73.

Born in Lowell on August 4, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Edmond and Marie (Mercier) Lausier.  Edna  was a graduate of Tyngsborough High School. 

Prior to her retirement, she had worked at UMass Lowell for many years.

Edna enjoyed gambling and taking trips to the casinos with her sisters. She always enjoyed her Saturday nights at Paul and Nancy’s house. But most of all she loved spending time with her best friend and granddaughter Ashley.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Edmond and Jennifer Gauthier; two grandchildren, Ashley Gauthier and Bryan Connolly-Dery and his wife Pâmela; a great grandson, Samuel; four sisters, Lucille Lavigne and her husband Dan, Claire Bergeron and her husband Kevin, Rita Clark and her husband Mike and Marie and Paquette and her husband Don; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her brothers Raymond, Edmond, Robert and Thadee Lausier, and her sister, Helen Mayall.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral services.
