Douglas Michael Duchesne, 29, of South Hudson NH, unexpectedly passed away Monday, August 29th, 2022 from injuries sustained in a tragic vehicle accident.
Douglas was born at Saints Memorial Hospital in Lowell Massachusetts on October 19th, 1992 to parents Douglas E. Duchesne and Carol D. Galvin (Garibotto). He was the youngest of 3 siblings and brought such joy to his family.
Douglas leaves behind a young son, Levi Michael Duchesne to mother, Nicole Goddard, who he loved beyond measure. Douglas will live on through Levi, and for that, his loved ones are eternally grateful.
As a class of 2011 Graduate from Alvirne High School, Douglas made lasting friendships that he cherished immensely. Friends of “Dougie Fresh”, as he was so often called, would describe him as a loyal and devoted friend and father. He was someone who always knew how to make everyone around him laugh with his hysterical sense of humor and love for pranks. Douglas had the most beautiful, creative mind which allowed him to succeed in his passion for barbering. He had an especially close bond with his mother, Carol, whom he often called “his best friend”. They had many hobbies they enjoyed together which included crafting, shopping and hunting for the best bargain at the thrift stores. Douglas and his father bonded through the trade of plumbing and would share lots of laughs on their days working together. Growing up, Douglas excelled at skateboarding and would go on to receive sponsorships through the sport. He had many friends who will always cherish their memories made at Hudson Skate Park.
In addition to his parents and son, Doug leaves behind his Stepfather, Edward F. Galvin; Four sisters, Katie Duchesne, Kelli Genikos (Duchesne), Breann LeLacheur (Galvin) and Chelsea Ward (Galvin), along with their significant others, Stephen Genikos and Matthew Ward; His maternal Grandmother “GG” Rosemae Garibotto, paternal Grandfather “PaPa” Edmond Duchesne as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and cousins who he loved dearly. He will be greeted in heaven by his two best friends, Zakk Estey and David Dunn as well as his cousin Adam Craven, his maternal Grandad, Richard Garibotta and paternal Grandmother, Theresa Duchesne.
Doug will be remembered for his loving heart and kindness towards the “underdogs”. He will be missed more than words are capable of describing.
