Douglas Constantine, age 81, a resident of Tyngsborough, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Rose Marie (Cote) Constantine, with whom he shared over 58 years of marriage.
He was born in Lowell, on January 20, 1945, and was a son of the late John and Marjorie (Lovering) Constantine. He was raised and educated in Tyngsborough and was a graduate of Chelmsford High School.
Douglas was a U.S. Army veteran having served from 1965 until his honorable discharge in 1967. During his time in the service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Joint Military Expeditionary Medal.
Prior to his retirement, Douglas was employed as a computer programmer for over 32 years by the Mitre Corporation.
Douglas had been a member of the Lowell and Tyngsboro Sportsmen’s Clubs, and he also served as and auxiliary officer for the Town of Tyngsborough Police Department.
Surviving him in addition to his wife are two sons, Scott D. Constantine and John E. Constantine. He was also the brother of the late John and Calvin Constantine.
In accordance with his wishes, a simple burial took place in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery.
