Dorothy J. Hawkes

Dorothy Hawkes, age 71, a resident of Tewksbury, passed away on November 30, 2024, in Lowell.

She was born on June 7, 1953, a daughter of the late Ivan B. and Muriel J. (Harriman) Hawkes.

Prior to her retirement, Dorothy was employed as an intake specialist at the Lowell Transitional Living Center.

Dorothy loved animals, playing bingo and making crafts.  She also enjoyed and looked forward too activities in her community.

She leaves behind many friends including those from her housing community in Tewksbury.  She was also the sister of the late Cheryl Hawkes and dear friend of the late Lynda Chandonnet. 

In accordance with her wishes, burial will be private.
