Doris (Goulet) Bailey Obituary

Doris R. (Goulet) Bailey, age 81, a lifelong resident of Nashua NH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was the beloved wife of Jason A. Bailey.

Born in Nashua, NH on December 8, 1944, Doris was the daughter of the late Rene and Simone (Robichaud) Goulet. She grew up in Nashua and graduated from St. Louis High School. Doris worked part-time for many years as a bookkeeper for Dan Bergeron Building & Development Inc.  She was a devoted homemaker and she prioritized her family above all else.

Doris was known for her true “Gift-of-gab” she could strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere, and loved to share hugs with those she cherished. She enjoyed puzzles, painting, and playing cards. Yet, her happiest moments were summers at Hampton Beach, surrounded by family and friends, where the sound of the waves and the company of loved ones brought her endless delight.

She is also survived by her sons, Brian J. Bailey and his wife Melissa D. (Smith) Bailey and their children, Joshua, Caleb and Nathan Bailey. Marc A. Bailey and his daughters, Hayley Bieler and Kira Bailey and his grandchildren Markis, Scarlett and Luca. Doris is also survived by her sister Elaine (Goulet) Bergeron and her husband Daniel.

A celebration of Doris’s life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association at https://www.alz.org/
