Donald E. Beaudry, Jr.

Donald E. Beaudry, Jr. , age 61, a longtime resident of Tyngsboro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 9, 2025, in Westford, after a long battle with declining health. He was surrounded by his loved ones in his final moments.

Born in Lowell on July 18, 1963, he was the son of Ernest Dickieson Jr. and the late Patricia A. (Gleason) Dickieson. Donald was educated in the Chelmsford school system and spent his career working in the construction field.

Donald was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping and was known for his green thumb. He took great joy in working with plants and cultivating beauty in his garden. In addition to his passion for nature, Donald was a true music lover, with a particular fondness for classic rock bands like KISS, Led Zeppelin, and AC/DC.

In addition to his father, Donald is survived by two sons, Donald (Donny) Beaudry and Daniel Beaudry; a daughter, Amanda Beaudry; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Diana St. John-Desmarais and her husband Dennis Desmarais, and Nancy Berrigan; three brothers, Ronald and his wife Ericka Beaudry, Ernest and his wife Patricia Dickieson, and David and his wife Melissa Dickieson; his half-brother, Donald Blanchette; as well as his aunts, nieces, and nephews. Donald’s family, friends, and loved ones will forever cherish his memory.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday, Jan. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. at TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough. A prayer service will take place immediately following at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a memorial donation in his memory to the Westford House Activities Dept., 3 Park Drive, Westford, MA 01886.
