Constance B. (Ducharme) Quintal
ARIZONA – Constance Blanche Quintal, age 95, a resident of Chandler, Arizona, passed away on May 1, 2021 at Kiran Manor in Chandler. She was the widow of the late George Quintal, with whom she celebrated 63 happy years together.
Born in Lowell, MA on December 11, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Alphee and Hermine (Ducharme) Desrochers from the Pawtucketville section of Lowell.
After finishing school in Lowell, she started her working career there in the sewing industry and later transferred to making draperies part time.
Constance and her husband later moved to the Bay Area in California in 1974 as a result of a job transfer. She enjoyed filling her time working, travelling, and enjoying her many friends and family. They retired to Arizona in 1984.
Connie’s relatives are the beneficiaries of her beautiful knitted blankets and tailored clothes.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Aline Eckley and brother Alphee Desrochers.
She will be remembered by her friends and family, including her many godchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, who all hold a special place in their hearts for her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Committal Service on Friday, May 14, at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. Those attending the services will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing to ensure everyone’s safety.
