Claire D. Michelin, age 74, a lifelong resident of Lowell, passed away on July 10, 2025.
Born in Lowell on September 18, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Joseph N. and Aline D. (Mainville) Michelin.
Claire enjoyed arts and crafts, quilting and dining out. She was a “Mother Hen” to her family especially her nieces and nephews. She loved cooking and her family always looked forward to her crêpes, meat potato pie and apple pies. Claire was also a very generous person who supported many charities.
She is survived by three sisters, Therese Morin, Diane Michelin and Pauline Michelin; a brother and sister-in-law, Omer and Sandy Michelin; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitations. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her committal service on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
