Claire Y. (Lozeau) Dube, 95, a cherished longtime resident of Lowell's Pawtucketville neighborhood, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, in Lowell.
She was the devoted and beloved wife of Richard R. Dube, with whom she shared 68 beautiful years of marriage.
Born in Lowell on May 19, 1930, Claire was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Eva (Mason) Lozeau. She received her education at St. Joseph's School and remained a faithful communicant of St. Rita's Church throughout her life.
Claire dedicated 35 years of service to Raytheon, where she worked as a mechanical inspector before her well-earned retirement.
An active member of her community, Claire was involved with D'Youville Manor's Guild and the Lowell Senior Center, where she formed many lasting friendships. She had a passion for life's simple pleasures, finding joy in friendly competition around the card table, tackling challenging puzzles, and engaging in spirited games of Scrabble with family and friends. These cherished pastimes kept her mind sharp and brought countless hours of happiness to those around her.
She is survived by her loving sister, Terry Hudon, and many cherished nieces, nephews and close friends. She was predeceased by her siblings Marie Ange Lamothe, Irene Toupin, Cecile Gauthier, Regina Lozeau, Raymond Lozeau, Rose Senior, Rita Maille, and Alice Brunelle.
Claire will be deeply missed by her many dear friends whose lives she touched with her warmth and kindness.
Services Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visiting hours on November 4, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Tyngsborough Funeral Home, 4 Cassaway Drive, Tyngsborough. A Catholic Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at Saint Rita's Church, 158 Mammoth Road, Lowell. Claire will be laid to rest at Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Lowell, where she will join her beloved family members who preceded her.
