Cheryl A. (Gannon) Boulanger, age 70, a resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Hérve E. Boulanger Jr. with whom she shared over 49 years of marriage.
She was born in Lowell on September 18, 1954, a daughter of the late Daniel and Theresa (Belanger) Gannon. Cheryl received her education from the Lowell school system and was a graduate of Lowell High School.
Prior to her retirement, she worked for many years in the cafeteria at the McAvinnue Elementary School.
Cheryl was a wonderful wife and mother, and she lived a very simple life. Her family was her world and her grandchildren always brought a smile to her face. She also had a very close relationship with her mother and sister.
Surviving her in addition to her loving husband Hérve, are a son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Hannah Boulanger; two grandchildren, Nora and Landon; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, Gary and Sheila Gannon, Daniel and Celeste Gannon, Scott Gannon and his companion Carol, James and Sue Gannon and Keith and Lynn Gannon; a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Peter Dennechuk; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Doris Beausoleil, Anne Clark, Donald Boulanger, Gerard and Denise Boulanger, Claire Mood and Ervin Sanders, Roland and Julie Boulanger, Linda and Paul Ducharme; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather, share stories and celebrate Cheryl’s life on Saturday, Jan. 4, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Drive., Tyngsborough.
