Bernadette H. (Letendre) Glotzbach

NASHUA – Bernadette “Bernie” Glotzbach, age 57, a resident of Nashua, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, with her loving daughter by her side.  She was the wife of the late Bruce J. Glotzbach, who died in 2009.

Born in Lowell on July 2, 1963, she was a daughter of the late Gerard A. Letendre, who died April 15, 2021, and the late Irene G. (Savard) Letendre, who died in 2009. 

Bernie was a graduate of Ste Jeanne d’Arc School and St. Louis Academy and earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Fitchburg State College.

She was a longtime active parishioner of the former Ste Jeanne d’Arc Church and the Parish of Saint Rita. She began playing the guitar in high school to serve as a part of their music ministry.

Bernie was a well-known faculty member at Ste Jeanne d’Arc School for over 30 years.  She had a passion for teaching and was committed to every student’s success. Bernie dedicated her life to the school community, and she has always considered the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa her family.

She enjoyed music, bowling, playing the guitar, helping others, and was always proud to be a part of Ste Jeanne d’Arc School.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah J. Glotzbach of Nashua; a sister and brother-in-law, Jacqueline and William Cordeiro, Jr. of Pelham; five brothers and two sisters-in-law, Normand and his wife Deborah Letendre of Hudson, Maurice Letendre of Manchester, Donald and his wife Riza Letendre of Nashua, Ronald Letendre of Washington, and John Letendre and his fiancé Stephanie of Lowell; her mother-in-law, Dolores F. Glotzbach of ME; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. 

Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, May 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Drive, Tyngsborough. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning, at 10 o'clock at the Parish of Saint Rita, 158 Mammoth Rd., Lowell. The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed and accessible through the Funeral Home website.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
