Barbara Ann (Burke) Ambrosino, age 83, a resident of Tyngsborough, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Lowell General Hospital, with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Robert “Bob” Ambrosino, with whom she shared over 63 years of marriage.
Born in Lowell on October 14, 1942 she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret M. (Lannon) Burke. She received her early education from St. Patrick’s School and was a graduate of Lowell High School.
Barbara worked at Piconics for many years and more recently at the Tyngsboro American Legion.
She loved spending time with family and friends and she had a passion for lighthouses and enjoyed taking care of her summer flowers.
Surviving her in addition to her loving husband Bob are her daughter, Lisa M. McDonald; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Carol Ambrosino; and her grandson, Christopher Ambrosino. She was also the sister of the late John F. Burke.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Tyngsborough Funeral Home, 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Saturday, Feb. 14, from 2 to 5 p.m. Her Funeral Service will take place immediately following in the Funeral Home at 5:15 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Tyngsboro American Legion, 90 Pawtucket Blvd., Tyngsborough, MA 01879.
