Anna V. (Sharpe) Damboise, age 91, a longtime resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, passed away on October 15, 2024. She was the wife of the late Raymond H. Damboise who passed in 2008.
Born in Savannah, GA on September 9, 1933, she was one of eleven children of the late Oliver C. and Vera Mae (Whiteman) Sharpe. After marrying Raymond in 1951 she re-located to Lowell where they lived in the home that they built on family property.
She worked as a nurse’s aide at Fairhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation. After her children were grown she went to work for Bellofram Corporation where she ultimately was promoted to second shift supervisor.
Anna enjoyed camping, kayaking, family cookouts and country music. She was also an active member of the Parish of Saint Rita.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Nancy Damboise of Deerfield, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Paul Flathers of Milton, NH; five grandchildren, Pepper Bechard, Travis Damboise, Matthew Flathers, Michael Flathers and James Flathers; eleven great grandchildren, Zachary, Becky, Dalton, Carter, Shepherd, Finnian, Anderson, Eisley, Callahan, Zeke and Jack; two great-great grandchildren, Tucker and Finn; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Drive, Tyngsborough on Sunday, Oct. 20, from 2 to 5 p.m. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m. in the Parish of Saint Rita, 158 Mammoth Road, Lowell. Committal services will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
