Ann Goulas Obituary

Ann M. Goulas

Well known Corvette Enthusiast!

CHELMSFORD – Ann M. Goulas, age 65, a lifelong resident of Chelmsford, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at the Lahey Clinic, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Born in Lowell on August 7, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Peter D. and V. Betty (Babaletos) Goulas.

She was a longtime employee for Raytheon, where she had dedicated over 40 years of service.

Ann had a passion for cars that began at a young age and stayed with her throughout her life.  Well known by Corvette owners from New England to Bowling Green, Kentucky, Ann could always be found at car shows, cruise nights, races and even Corvette Caravans that would travel thousands of miles across the country.  Whether it was a trip to the National Corvette Museum, Corvettes at Carlisle, Pennsylvania or other destinations around the country, Ann was always ready to go.  She led several caravans as the MA State Leader and cruises throughout her life and was currently working on 2019 National Corvette Caravan to the Nation Corvette Museum’s 25th Anniversary slated for August, 2019.

Ann was a founding member and longtime President of the Spindle City Corvettes, a huge supporter of Vettes to Vets and the Corvettes Conquer Cancer Tour, a lifetime member of the National Corvette Museum and a member of the New England chapter of NCRS.

Her infectious smile, friendly personality and passion for Corvettes will be missed by so many.  Ann was known for her generosity and love for her family, friends and life.   Those who knew her well will never forget about the restoration project on her 66 Corvette that she never got to see completed.

She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her sister and brother in law, Elaine Paul and her husband, Bill, of Ayer; two brothers and a sister in law, Peter Goulas and his wife, Wendy, of North Chelmsford and Paul Goulas and his girlfriend, Kate Connors of Chelmsford; three nephews and a niece, Richard MacLean and his wife Amy, Peter Goulas and his wife Quyen, Elizabeth Martins and Andrew Paul; three grand nieces, Skye Whitlow, Shea MacLean and Cassidy MacLean; an aunt, Helen Goulas of Lowell and several cousins; her dear friends, Karen and Tony Blandini, Bill and Diane LaVarnway and Bob and Gail Albanese, her Mafunsalo Family and many Raytheon friends and coworkers as well as many special friends throughout the Corvette Circuit.
