Alice (Marshall) Saucier Obituary

Alice I. (Marshall) Saucier, a resident of Lowell, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the age of 81.  She was the wife of the late Henry W. Saucier, who she shared 41 wonderful years of marriage until his passing in 2018.  

Alice was born and raised in Lowell, the daughter of Philip and Irene (Gamache) Marshall, who both preceded her in death. She was educated in the Lowell school system and was a parishioner of the former St. Louis de France Church and after its closing, St. Joseph the Worker Shrine. 

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an inspector by the Textron Systems Group.

Alice enjoyed traveling and shopping. She was a devout wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and always looked forward to family gatherings.

She is survived by five daughters, Kelley Underwood and her husband Richard, Kathleen Wilson and her husband Daniel, Brenda Bond, Linda Johnson and her husband Brian and Pauline Saucier; two sons, Michael King and the late Timothy King; ten grandchildren, Ryan, Hollie, Jessica, Rick Jr., Kristina, Katelyn, Nicholus, Derek, Tabitha, and Samantha who she always had a special bond with; thirteen great grandchildren who were the light of her life; several nieces and nephews; her dear friends, Gerard and Doris Bellerose and Roland Martin; and her many friends from Rogers Hall. She was also the wife of the late Wayne C. King and sister of the late Philip, Ronald and Richard Marshall.

The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to Danielle Murphy from Tufts Care At Home, for her loving care provided to Alice. 

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitations.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Saturday, June 8, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Parish, 543 Bridge St., Lowell. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: St. Joseph the Worker Shrine, 37 Lee St., Lowell, MA 01852.
