Albert J. Pellerin, Jr., age 84, a resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at his home with his family by his side.
Born in Lowell on February 25, 1942, he was a son of the late Albert J. Sr. and Alice (Lefebvre) Pellerin, and was a graduate of St. Joseph’s High School.
Al enjoyed having fun, watching sports on TV and relaxing on the front porch, and he was always ready for a game of cribbage.
Prior to his retirement, he worked for many years in auto sales and later as a massage therapist.
He is survived by four daughters and four sons-in-law, Denise and Peter Gill, Susan and Scott Gschwind, Michelle and Kevin Dube and Jeanne and Ernie Rego; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson and husband Justin, Adam Hall and Fiancée Emma Morin, Alex Hall, Nicole Gschwind, Lauren Dube, Renee Weiser and husband Bradley, Eric Poulin and wife Emily and Danny Poulin; five great grandchildren, Madison, Eleanor, Amelia, Audrey and Callahan; his brothers and sisters, Henry “Hank” Pellerin, Ida Robertson, Robert Pellerin and his wife Janine, Victor Pellerin, Donald Pellerin, Sr. Claire Pellerin S.E. and Amy Pellerin and her spouse Linda Kays; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son David Pellerin and a sister Therese Gagnon.
Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, May 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. in the Parish of Saint Rita Church 158 Mammoth Road, Lowell. Burial will be held privately in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chelmsford.
