resident of Lowell; age 90

Mrs. Yvette M. (Clermont) Mayrand, age 90, a longtime resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018, at her home with her loving family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of the late Robert L. Mayrand who died in 2015.

Born in Lowell, on September 18, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Rosalie (Boisjoly) Clermont.

She graduated top of her class from St. Louis Academy.

She was a parishioner of the former St. Louis de France Church and more recently of Ste Marguerite D’Youville Parish.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a bookkeeper for the former Jim Witt Automotive Dealership.

Yvette loved traveling with her husband Robert and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her nephew and nieces whom she raised, Norman R. Hebert, Elaine T. Bettencourt and Louise A. Mullen all of Lowell; a nephew Maurice M. Hebert of NY; a brother, Maurice P. Clermont of Lowell; a sister, Aline V. Clermont of Lowell; also several nieces and nephews. She was a great and loving Mémère to Rebecca “Becky” Meak, Christopher Bettencourt, Sarah Walsh and her husband Shane, Joseph Bettencourt and his wife Karyn and their families.

She was also the sister of the late Donat Clermont.

MAYRAND – died in Lowell on Jan. 8, 2018.  Yvette M. (Clermont) Mayrand, age 90, a resident of Lowell and wife of the late Robert L. Mayrand.  Relatives and friends may call at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Friday from 3 until 7 p.m. Funeral Saturday morning with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in Ste Marguerite D’Youville Parish, 1340 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
