Nancy J. (Conley) Graham 79, of Dunstable, MA passed peacefully surrounded by her family at her home in Dunstable, MA after courageous 5 1/2 year battle with metastatic breast cancer. Born in Methuen, MA on Feb 22, 1940 to Elizabeth R and Joseph T Conley. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School class of 1957.
Early on in her career she worked at Raytheon in Andover, MA. When her children were young she opened/operated the White Elephant Flea Market in Tyngsboro, MA. She worked at Tyngsboro Town Hall in the assessor’s office and from there she went on to work as an administrative assistant at Hancock Building Associates for many years before finishing her career at Lamco Systems in Tyngsboro, MA while also holding various other positions along the way to support herself and her children
She loved her Boston sports teams and didn’t hesitate to hoot and holler during the big games. Her knowledge and passion for politics was to be admired and feared. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Much like the lights at Christmas, her favorite holiday, she glowed brightly. She loved traveling with friends and time spent at beach with her family. Her other hobbies included gardening, researching family history on ancestry.com, reading, political blogs and her dear friends in The Sunshine Gals. She had a sarcastic, quick witted sense of humor with a generous heart. Her devotion, advice and words of wisdom to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will be forever missed.
She was predeceased by her husband Michael J. Graham. She is survived by her five children: her daughter Kathleen E. (Graham) Lamarre and husband Ronald with whom she made her home with for over 25 years; Her daughter Kelly A. (Graham) Tello and her husband David of Windham NH, where she spent several days each week after retirement watching her grandchildren; Her son, Kevin P. Graham and his wife Marisa of Pepperell, MA; Her daughter, Jane-Ellen (Graham) Decubellis and her husband Michael of Lyndeborough, NH; and son Michael J. Graham Jr and his wife Isabel of Lowell, MA.
She is also survived by her brother Joseph Conley and his wife Juanita of Hollywood FL Sue-Ellen (Conley) Eaton and her husband John of Tewksbury, Ma, Patricia M (Conley) Mahoney and husband Patrick of Haddonfield, NJ and Sr. Sheila R. Conley of Durant, MS.
She is survived by 20 grandchildren: Rebecca (Lamarre) Beauregard and husband Joshua, Robert Lamarre and wife Samantha, Molly Lamarre, Matthew Lamarre, United States Marine PFC David Tello the 3rd, Connor Tello, Cameron Tello, Keira Tello, Catherine Graham, Kyleigh Graham, Shannon Graham, Ryan Decubellis, Crystal (Graham) Som and husband David, Jessica Graham and Michaela Graham and 9 great grandchildren: Aubrey, Bailey and Camille Som; Jaiden Graham; Michael and Kelvin Martinez Jr.; Raelynn and Jameson Beauregard and Lacey Lamarre.
She is also survived by many special nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Rao and her incredible team of oncology nurses for the 5 years of extraordinary, passionate, loving care they gave our mother. We are forever thankful.
We would also like to thank Merrimack Valley hospice and their team of nurses for the care given to Mom over the past 8 months.
Finally, we would like to thank all the friends and family near and far and online that supported Mom and us kids during this very difficult time. We are eternally grateful
GRAHAM – Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. Her Funeral Service will take place immediately following at 4 p.m. in the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family asks you donate to Metavivor.org.
