Mark J. Brophy
NASHUA, NH – Mark J. Brophy, age 55, a resident of Nashua, NH, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018, with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Chae (Lee) Brophy.
Born in Queens, NY, on May 17, 1963, he was a son of James V. Brophy of NY and the late Beverly (Tyler) Brophy.
Mark was an outdoorsman who was very active with the Boy Scouts achieving the rank of Eagle Scout in 1981 and loved camping, shooting and hiking. He was also an avid New England Patriots fan.
Mark was a decorated veteran of the U.S. Army having earned the rank of Sergeant in the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) prior to his honorable discharge in 1990.
He was employed as a Regional Loss Prevention Manager with Radio Shack for many years.
Surviving him in addition to his loving wife and father are a son, Sean T. Brophy of Nashua; two brothers, Peter Brophy and his partner Gregory of Toronto and Paul Brophy and his wife Diane of Londonderry, NH; a sister, Mary Brophy of Derry; and his dear friends, the Negron family of Nashua.
Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough, MA on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. His Funeral Mass will be held on Monday morning at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Parish, 216 E. Dunstable Rd., Nashua. Burial will follow in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
