Janice C. Hughes, age 46, a resident of Nashua and a former resident of Pelham, passed away suddenly on November 27, 2017 at her home. 
Born in Lowell on August 19, 1971, she was a daughter of Rita M. (Charest) Hughes of Nashua and the late William A. Hughes.
Janice was educated in the Pelham school system and was a graduate of Pelham High School class of 1989.  She then attended Rivier College and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. 
Janice worked as a registered nurse for different medical facilities but most recently she had worked at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
She was a generous soul with a big heart that enjoyed helping anyone in need. 
Janice loved spending time with family, friends and especially her dog Kodi. 
Surviving her in addition to her mother Rita, are two brothers, William L. Hughes of Pelham and L. Keith Hughes of Tyngsborough; two sisters and a brother in law, Sheila M. and Lt. Paul D. Martin of Dracut and Kellie M. Lawrence of Nashua; her loving nieces and nephews, Angela and her husband Christopher DeMange of Lowell, Jacob Martin of Dracut, Zachary Martin of Dracut, Nina Reppucci of Methuen, Alicia Reppucci-Hughes of Methuen and Karisa and her husband Daniel Feudner, Jr. of Milford; a great nephew, Odin James Feudner; her aunts and uncles, Elaine Roy of Nashua, Robert and Christine Charest of Arlington, Lorraine and John Duffy of FL, Anne and Chuck Sitnik of Lowell and Shirley and Jack Krantz of NY; her dear friend since childhood, Carrie Silva of Pelham; also several cousins and many special friends.
 
Relatives and friends may call at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 6 p.m.  Funeral Monday morning with a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 W. Hollis St., Nashua.
