James H. Lynch III

 1941 – 2018

Mr. James H. Lynch III, age 76, a resident of Lowell, passed away at the Palm Center on July 3, 2018 after a lengthy illness.  He was the loving husband of Deborah DeSilva Lynch.   

Born in Lowell on August 23, 1941, he was the son of the late James H. Lynch II and Florence (Panton) Lynch.

He received his early education from Immaculate Conception School, Lowell High School class of 1959 and furthered his education at Lowell Tech. and graduated from Northeastern University.

Jim was self-employed as a real estate investor and developer, having owned properties in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Florida and Maine.  He was also the President and CEO of Consolidated Investment Group.

He was a life member of the NRA and a longtime volunteer at D’Youville Senior Care.

Jim enjoyed hunting, weight lifting, photography and especially traveling with his wife.  He was also an avid Red Sox fan.

Surviving him in addition to his wife Deborah are his sisters in law and their husbands, Karen and Carlos Silva of Lowell and Sandra and Sean Murphy of Ayer; his mother in law, Dolores Morneau of Lowell; nephews, Kevin Silva, Chase Murphy and Riley Murphy; his nieces, Jennifer Therriault and Samantha Murphy; also two uncles, Edward Ferreira and Joseph Ferreira.

He was also the brother of the late David L. Lynch.

LYNCH – James H. Lynch III.  Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial visitation on Saturday, July 7 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough.  A prayer service will take place immediately following in the funeral home at 2 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.  For online condolences or directions, please visit www.tyngsboroughfhuneralhome.com.
