Charles “Charlie” N. Dean
Charlie Dean, age 68, a longtime resident of Tyngsborough, passed away suddenly on November 26, 2019. He was the loving husband of Jean E. (Bauer) Dean to whom he had been married for 42 years.
Born in Lowell on December 17, 1950, he was a son of the late Norman F. and Bertha A. (Polewarczyk) Dean.
He grew up in Dracut and graduated from Dracut High School class of 1968.
Charlie was a highly respected auto mechanic and a “jack of all trades”, who was always willing to help anyone in need.
In addition to spending time with family, he enjoyed playing pool and was an avid car enthusiast who often attended classic car shows, cruise nights and auto racing. But his true passion was working on his 1970 Mustang with his son Charlie and listening to 8 track tapes.
Surviving him in addition to his wife Jean are his children, Lori A. Blake and her fiancé Joseph Wiroll of Billerica, Richard S. Blake III of Hudson, NH and Charlie D. Dean of Tyngsborough; two sisters and a brother in law, Carol A. Coughlin of Londonderry and Betty Findley and her husband Gerald of Dracut; a brother, Thomas F. Dean of Waterboro, ME; a sister in law and brother in law, Joan and Dennis Santos of Dracut; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother in law of the late Patricia A. Dean and Alfred W. Bauer Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service to be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019, from 10 am to 12 noon in the Parish Hall at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 95 Lakeview Ave., Tyngsborough.
