OHIO – Michael K. Clark, age 43, a former longtime resident of Tyngsborough, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at his home in Creston, Ohio.
He was born in Lowell on October 6, 1973, a son of Doris I. (Rainville) Clark of Tyngsborough and Tyrone L. Clark.
Michael was educated in the Tyngsborough school system and was a graduate of Tyngsborough High School in 1991. He then enlisted into the United States Navy in September of 1991 and received an Honorable Discharge in April 1995 with a rank of E4. During his service time in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii he received the National Defense Service Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Good Conduct Award and Letter of Commendation.
After completing his military service, Michael moved to Ohio where he worked as a machinist (a trade he acquired while serving in the Navy). In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, car racing and four wheeling with his friends there. When Michael came home for the holidays, he looked forward to seeing his family and having fun with his cousins. He also had a very special place in his heart for his godchild, Kristie.
He will be deeply missed by his family, (especially his mother) and close friends who loved him deeply and will always remember his contagious laugh and smile.
He is survived by his mother Doris I. Clark and her fiancé Fred French of Tyngsborough; his brother, Christopher J. Clark of TX; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Irene Rainville and late grandfather Alphoinse Rainville of Lowell; his aunts and uncles, Pauline and Alfred Montmarquet Sr. of Lowell, Claire Marvin and late Robert Marvin of Dracut, Marie and Clifford Yapp of AZ, Diane and Robert Champlin of NH and Ronald Rainville of CA; also several cousins and dear friends.

Relatives and friends may call at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Wednesday, June 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Thursday, June 15, with a service to be held in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
