 Loving wife, mother and grandmother

DRACUT – Elaine L. (Foucher) (Emond) Lagasse, age 68, a resident of Dracut, passed away at her home on March 23, 2018, with her family by her side.  She was the loving wife of Arthur J. Lagasse. 

Born in Lowell on January 19, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Gerard H. and Juliette S. (Desrosiers) Foucher.

She grew up in Pawtucketville and was a graduate of St. Joseph High School and a parishioner of the former Ste Jeanne d’Arc Church.

 Elaine was employed by the Law Office of Joseph C. Clermont as a legal assistant for many years.

Elaine loved her work, traveling, family and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

She loved her time at Summer Village including any opportunity to welcome new owners and playing horseshoes with her friends who enjoyed her company and spirited personality.  As a long time patron of the Cameo Diner, Elaine brightened the lives of many and was loved by all.

In addition to her husband Arthur, Elaine is survived and will be deeply missed by her two sons and a daughter in law, Kenneth Emond and his wife Stacey of Dracut and Kevin Lagasse of Dracut; a daughter and son in law, Michelle J. Bakke and her husband David of Tewksbury; three grandchildren, Christopher, Maddalana and Samantha; two sisters and a brother in law, Janet Miller-Ramsdell of Salisbury, MA and Dianne J. Clancy and her husband Patrick of Winthrop, WA;  also nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

She was also the sister of the late Kenneth, Roger and Normand Foucher.

LAGASSE – died in Dracut on March 23, 2018. Mrs. Elaine (Foucher) (Emond) Lagasse, age 68, a resident of Dracut and wife of ArthurJ. Lagasse.  Relatives and friends may call at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral Wednesday morning with a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in the Parish of Saint Rita, 158 Mammoth Road, Lowell.
