Loving wife, mother and grandmother

DRACUT - Mrs. A. Shirley Clement, 82, of Dracut (formerly of Lowell) passed away on Monday, September 25th, 2017 at D’Youville Senior Care Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Victor Russell Clement, with whom she was married for 64 wonderful years.

Born in Boston, on March 24, 1935 she was raised by Leopold and Roseanna L’Heureux. She was educated in the Lowell school system and later earned her G.E.D. in 1971.

Shirley worked as an insurance agent first at New York Life, and then for 35 years at Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company. Her motivation in providing insurance to families was to always keep their best interest in mind.

Shirley loved music, especially singing.  She was a member of the St. Mary Magdalen choir. We will always remember her as the family photographer capturing all of our lives with her camera. She was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed cheering for them. While Shirley had many favorite pastimes in life, however, nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her loving husband Russ, she is survived by her four sons: Leo Clement and his wife Terry of Merrimack, NH, Russell Clement of Nashua, NH and Liz Saucier of Lowell, MA, Rheal Clement and his wife Jean, Anthony Clement and his wife Ann all of Tyngsboro, MA, eight grandchildren: Jason, his wife Katie and great granddaughter Elizabeth Clement, Heather and her husband Blake Norris all of Pepperell, MA, Nicole, Ryan and Corey Clement of Nashua, NH, Melissa and her husband Matthew Campbell of Hudson, NH, Ashley Clement of Manchester, NH and Angela Clement of Tyngsboro, MA, nieces, nephews and friends who she loved dearly.

She was also the sister of the late Dorothy Davis and Rita Dubois.

CLEMENT – died in Lowell on Sept 25, 2017.  Mrs. A. Shirley Clement, 82, wife of Victor Russell Clement.  Relatives and friends may call at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Drive, Tyngsborough, on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.  Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Parish 93 Lakeview Avenue, Tyngsborough.  Shirley’s family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff at D’Youville Senior Care Center, who were a second family to us all.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the D’Youville Foundation in memory of Ann Shirley Clement.
